When the sun meets the moon

Hello World,

Again, something strange happened. Well... this morning, I was just
playing with my digital camera and some compacts discs, in order to be able to take some pictures of the sun, just behind me.

But progressively, minutes after minutes, I felt that the light was
going down.just as if the sun was passing away. By looking at the next
picture that you'll find next, I understood that something rare was
happening.

I decided to take another picture, in order to confirm that it was not
an optical illusion ; last days were so filled with emotions (as I
related in my previous post
)... I could not believe that so many
exceptional things could happen at the same time !

But again, this was for real. I was facing a solar eclipse ! Here is a big zoom of it, took behind two compact-discs  :

... and you know, these music CDs can sometimes make it really funky.
Just by moving one of theses, I obtained a cool discolights
effect, some kind of photographic design in order to celebrate this unique day : when the
sun dances with the
moon !

Oh, thank you for showing us the eclipse! We missed it in London. Guess why? It was cloudy of course :P
