What's up in France ?

Hello world,

Soooo... a few weeks after an international abusive coverage about riots, fire, and hell in France, what's up ? Let's take a look...

Well. At first sight, you'll see the church, a future chrismas tree, and some firemen's trucks. Is all of this due to the outrageous TV's propaganda on the french first channel (dealing with insecurity everyday) ? I don't know... but this picture is a good resume about some media's speech : "Christmas vs Paranoļa".

In this second picture, you can see some typical french protesters. People dressed in white are from Greenpeace, and the others, carrying red flags (of the main french syndicate called CGT) are dealing with unemployment. That's it : nothing new under the grey sky, still no jobs, and pollution. And what do a french people against it ? They walk in the street (only about 50 people here...), shouting some old school protesting words - and it's not more efficient than it used to be. But they do it again and again and again, even if it's been a long time not that the politics really don't care anymore about them.

Here is a thrird picture, with youth full of life, serving for one day the main TV charity gig of the year, called here "Telethon". Yes... it's the day  to save your soul,  and the god TV wants your money in order to get more than in the past years. It's a good thing, and as usual, many people will be generous and send a little bit of money. And as usual, only because... it's on TV.

So... as you can see, this is a typical end of year in France as everywhere. I located Santa Claus : he is working hard, as everyone prepares Christmas, and the beat goes on. Shops are full of people, Christmas trees are everywhere, and I'll show you soon that many, many lights have been added everywhere in order to do everything as usual. No revolution here, Fox News and CNN reporters have gone away....

I think ythings are quite stuck in France nothing really moves. Should i suggest that a Grito replaces president Chirac ? that would be an idea !!!

Now that would really liven things up a lot! Maybe even restore the monarchy, and who would sit on the throne???

Artmeliana: Well... 2005 has not ended yet, and more to come is still possible, even id the Christmas shield is still strong enough to report the worst to early 2006 ! ;o)

negrito: Yep my Lord, it could be a great thing to replace a vegetable by an intelligent animal life. But this fight would not be exactly in the Gritos culture... because that kind of challenge is quite violent you know, and Gritos are not born to save the world ! ;o)

Artmeliana: It might... But knig Negrito is the King of Gritos, but I think that being the King of humans is quite another job...
